The first advise I got when shooting wedding photography was to shoot everything and anything hoping that you will get a few decent shots through.

But as a writer I am always inclined to stories that image clarity and lighting, what I wanted was frames that could take my subjects back to moments that would be memorable.

Jig with it

My people love dancing and you could always feel the way music took them to states where they were oblivious of the camera and gave the most honest expressions of themselves.

Dancing like singing is internal regardless of the motions they inspire outside.

Show me the bling

After the church ceremony we went to Che's bay, CS Ababu Namwamba's beach resort on the shores of Lake Victoria for the photo shoot.

I wanted a pose where the could flaunt their rings but it did not come out as I had anticipated.

Still it I liked that it was so natural. I was lucky enough to capture the proud feeling of flaunting pingu za maisha.
